The Waterhouse Bar is a very popular space, particularly at weekends. We recommend enquiring as soon as you can. The Library also gets booked up fast, so do get in touch as soon as you’ve decided to have a party or event.

A deposit is required for private hires. This deposit is fully redeemable towards your spend on the day, whether that be a pre-order or using it as a bar tab.
Deposits vary depending on the size of your event. Please enquire for a quote.
For smaller reservations we may need a card authorisation rather than a deposit.

Private hire bookings can be cancelled up to one month before the event date, within this period we reserve the right to retain any deposit. We can reschedule within this time, subject to availability.

Yes, DJs and bands are welcome. Please note that we don’t permit external speakers to be used and music can only be amplified through our sound system.
DJs and bands are able to play until 11pm, this is due to adjacent hotel rooms.

Set up access is one hour prior to the start of your party or event. Where set up is required ahead of this time, this may affect the minimum spend due to the room hire times being extended.

Yes, you’re welcome to decorate, but please note that we don’t permit the use of sticky tape, glitter, glitter balloons or confetti.

We will take care of the clean up! If you wish to keep any of the decorations, we require them to be taken down on the same day.

The Library and the main bar are wheelchair accessible and there is an easier access loo. Our dining room is accessed via 3 steps and The Waterhouse Bar is only accessible via a set of stairs.
